Dinner doesn’t always have to be a big production. Tonight my family gulped down half a loaf of toasted sourdough loaded with smashed avocado, nutritional yeast, large flakes of Dead Sea salt (any salt will do), and crumbled kale chips leftover from last night’s’ dinner.

Steak! Yeah! Yum! Tonight’s dinner in celebration of Shabbat was beautifully grilled T-bone steaks with roasted sweet potatoes and potatoes and a side of broccoli rabe. The potato medley was roasted in the 400 degree oven for 45 minutes after a dousing of olive oil,
