Day 18. Grilled T-Bone Steak with roasted potato medley and broccoli rabe
Steak! Yeah! Yum! Tonight’s dinner in celebration of Shabbat was beautifully grilled T-bone steaks with roasted sweet potatoes and potatoes and a side of broccoli rabe. The potato medley was roasted in the 400 degree oven for 45 minutes after a dousing of olive oil, salt, pepper, and some fresh rosemary. The key to reducing the bitterness in the broccoli rabe is squeeze a Meyer Lemon over it while cooking in the frying pan. Sounds counterintuitive but it works, well, a little bit.
